THE FIRST THIRTEEN

In the early 80s, US knifemaking legend Jimmy Lile made exactly 13 knives for the first film in the world-famous action movie series. Thirteen was his lucky number. Today these thirteen knives are legendary among fans and collectors!

Dietmar Pohl, himself a passionate collector of movie knives, would like to honour and continue the special story of the first thirteen with this special "First Thirteen" set of the CNC-Tec Collector's Edition.

For the film project Dietmar Pohl and his team traveled many times all over Europe. The highest priority was the safe transport of the special knives to meetings and to the film set.

And so the choice fell on the impact, shock and waterproof cases that had proved themselves in the military and in extreme situations. From the first hour of the project, these cases have been the constant companions of the Pohl Force Team.

MK-8 AND MK-9 - THE TWO MOVIE KNIVES IN AN EXCLUSIVE SET!

It was our intention to create a Collector's Set like no other before: the first thirteen MK-8 and MK-9 movie knives of the CNC-Tec Collector's Edition, limited to 300 pieces each, in the authentic original transport and presentation case of the project, as used by the team.

The custom-made shaped cut-outs ensure a very special presentation and safe storage of the two collector's items. The knives and the two leather sheaths as well as the leg straps are stored on two levels.

Both leather sheaths are personally signed by Dietmar Pohl and show the serial number of the knives. The picture print on high-quality 325 g/m² Hahnemühle FineArt Baryta is also personally signed by designer Dietmar Pohl. The unique certificate, printed on handmade paper - produced according to 2000 year old tradition - confirms the authenticity of these sets. The special 3-D patch is also included.
