Hope BC, as the film location of First Blood, celebrated the 40th anniversary in October 2022 with a very special anniversary weekend. Fans from all over the world pilgrimaged to the atmospheric town in beautiful British Columbia.
The film presentation in the atmospheric Hope Cinema was a very special highlight. Built in 1945 and one of the oldest cinemas in BC, it offers visitors a very special cinema atmosphere.
Dietmar Pohl was given the special opportunity to talk about his life story and his contribution to the film series as well as to present actress Elizabeth Dennehy and actor Patrick Stack a Pohl Force MK-9 with a personal dedication.
